Welcome to The Lodge at Pony Farm, located on the grounds of the Pony Farm in Temple, New Hampshire, in the scenic Monadnock region.
The Lodge at Pony Farm offers hospitality for a variety of programs throughout the year. Our principal season is from September to May, when we offer programs of our own choice and design, as well as a number of events sponsored by either Pony Farm or Horse Power, our partners here on the farm in Temple.
During these nine months of the year, The Lodge is sometimes available to outside groups or families for rental and activities of their own choosing. During the months of June through August, The Lodge serves as living quarters for young girl campers and staff attending the various sessions of the Pony Farm Summer Camp. Information concerning the Pony Farm Summer Camp and the other events sponsored by Pony Farm during the rest of the year may be found on the link to the Pony Farm website. Information about Horse Power events may be found on the link to the Horse Power website.
This website is devoted to the programs offered under the auspices of The Lodge itself, and a schedule of all these events is posted and updated from time to time. By clicking on the underlined name of a particular program on the schedule, you can go to a page that provides a fuller description of that program and explains the content, the leadership, the fee involved, and a way to register and pay.
I invite you to read and respond, if you choose, to the blogs that appear on this website, most of which are written by me, but some by others. We seek to speak on topics of timely and significant interest, often in specific relationship with one or more of our programs.
I also invite you to participate in the programs we are offering. We have a particular interest in innovative initiatives like biochar and nutrient dense biological farming, which promise a healthy impact on our lives and our relationship with the earth. Our principal focus, though, is the transformation of consciousness that we need to undergo as individuals and as a society if we are to find our way to a healthier and sustainable way of life. Several of our programs are specifically devoted to this theme, and may be taken singly or as a series for the fuller learning experience.
